[ doorbell rings ] and let the good life in. ♪ ♪ >> megyn: eagle scout grabbing national attention after he was slapped with felony charges and suspended from school what seemed like an innocent mistake. trace gallagher has more. >> he went skeet shooting with friends and he drives himself and reaches over to get his book bag, he notices he left his gun in his car. he calls his mom to pick up the gun. an administrator overhere's him and he is arrested and suspended from school. now, the school is saying, he wasn't really suspended. he has just bin transferred to an alternate setting so he can finish his credits. he does itself schooling someplace else but he doesn't get to walk with his class in graduation. the parents and students are outraged because the student is trying to do the right thing. here is one parent. >> he is an eagle scout. he made a mistake, he doesn't deserve to not to walk across the stage with the rest of his friends he has known since preschool. >> r
